Every certified Subaru dealership has a soft spot for furry creatures. Minooka Subaru, serving Scranton, partnered with Griffin Pond Animal Shelter. During October, we promised to donate $100 for every sheltered pet that was adopted. In 31 days, many cats and dogs found their forever homes in Lackawanna County. Many Pennsylvania residents rescued and saved the lives of these adorable canines and felines. The Moosic Subaru dealership is always eager to uphold the Subaru Loves Pets initiative.

Griffin Pond Animal Shelter is the Humane Society of Lackawanna County. Located in Clarks Summit, Griffin Pond Animal Shelter cares for more than 200 animals a day. The goal is to help those that are abused, unwanted, and homeless. The shelter staff works tirelessly to find animal lovers looking to adopt dogs and cats. Even if you're not looking to add a furball to your family, you can still volunteer your time or make a monetary donation to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter.
The team members at Minooka Subaru were thrilled to team up with the good-hearted folks at Griffin Pond Animal Shelter during October. We were able to donate hundreds of dollars because of all the pet adoptions that took place.
